Liquid State Pty Ltd (‘Liquid State’) operates the www.liquidstate.com website, its subdomains and associated ‘Powered by Liquid State’ sites. The Liquid State Platform allows users to create ‘apps’ which are self-contained software applications designed to run on mobile devices and desktops.
It is Liquid State’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our website or from apps created with the platform.
Like most website operators, Liquid State collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request.
Liquid State’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how Liquid State’s visitors use its website or apps created with the site. From time to time, Liquid State may release nonpersonally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website or the apps created with the site.
Liquid State also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users. Liquid State only discloses logged in user IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information as described below, except that user IP addresses are visible and disclosed to the administrators of the site when creating content and publishing via the site.
GATHERING OF PERSONALLY-IDENTIFYING INFORMATION
Certain visitors to Liquid State’s website choose to interact with Liquid State in ways that require Liquid State to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that Liquid State gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who sign up for an account at www.liquidstate.comto provide a username and email address.
Those who engage in transactions with Liquid State – by publishing a document, for example – are asked to provide additional information, including as necessary the personal and financial information required to process those transactions. In each case, Liquid State collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with Liquid State.
Liquid State does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. Visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities. Liquid State provides you metrics about how your app users interact with the content you publish via the personalised apps you make. In order to do so, Liquid State collects information about your app users’ transactions with your personalised apps and the content they contain.
Liquid State uses this information for the following general purposes:
● To provide you with a snapshot of how your users engage with your app and its content
● To provide you with the ability to customise the content delivered to your app users
● To improve our services, to contact you, to conduct research,
This policy does not apply to the practices of Liquid State customers, or of companies that Liquid State does not own or control, or to people that Liquid State does not employ or manage. In addition, many Liquid State customers have their own, preexisting privacy policies which may be viewed on the customer’s own websites or within the personalised apps these customers produce with the Liquid State system.
Liquid State may collect statistics about the behaviour of visitors to its websites, any related apps and any other services Liquid State provides. For instance, Liquid State may monitor the document downloads for apps created with the site to collate Document Delivery fees. Liquid State may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, Liquid State does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.
