Liquid State Cloud allows you to create app document categories and easily distribute to particular app users. Although this feature is easy to configure in the Liquid State web dashboard – here is our quick guide on how to create document categories.

Enabling Document Categories within your app is a simple and well guided process. This feature allows you to connect any published document with relevant categories. These specific categories can then be shared with specific App Users or App User Groups. This allows you to share content with your selected audience with just a few clicks. Watch the video below to see how you can enable Document Categories within an app made with Liquid State.

Ultimately, enabling Document Categories within your app involves:

  • Connecting documents with relevant categories
  • Assign App Users and Groups viewing permissions for each category
  • Review document permissions to relevant App Users and Groups

Document categories allow you to organise content within your app’s Library screen. Furthermore, as this is an optional feature, it can be disabled if no longer needed.
